Welcome to Benihana, home of the original hibachi experience.

You’ll find us on Bridgepointe Parkway in San Mateo, just off Highway 92 and right by Foster City. Dinner here happens right at your table. Your personal chef cooks your meal in front of you, knives moving fast and flames going up, putting on a show as everything comes together.

Fresh From the Grill

This is where the magic happens. Filet mignon, colossal shrimp, Hokkaido scallops and chicken, all grilled on the teppanyaki right before your eyes. The flames leap, the knives fly, and the whole table leans in.

What We're Pouring

The grill gets all the attention, but the bar more than holds its own.

There’s our famous, award-winning signature hot sake, poured the way it should be. The house-favorite Benihana Punch. And Rocky’s Margarita, made with Altos Plata, yuzu and Grand Marnier, in Traditional, Mango, Passion Fruit or Strawberry.
