Our Mall of America restaurant is on the third floor, right next to Macy’s. Whether you’re mid-shopping spree, in town for the Vikings, off a flight at MSP or just looking for the best hibachi in the Twin Cities, the grill’s ready and the third floor is calling.

About the service charge

Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm. Sushi rolls, Tokyo wings, gyoza and signature cocktails for $3, $6 and $9. Pull up a seat in the Bar and Lounge.

Lunch daily, 11am to 3pm. A good stop between shopping, the rides at Nickelodeon Universe or a long morning at MSP.

FRESH FROM THE GRILL

Our chefs cook right in front of you. Filet mignon, colossal shrimp, Hokkaido scallops, all grilled on the teppanyaki with the kind of showmanship you’ll still be talking about back at the hotel.

Lunch runs 11am to 3pm. The teppan show starts at 3pm and runs until 9:30pm Monday through Saturday, 7:30pm on Sundays.

THE BAR AND LOUNGE

The hibachi gets all the attention, but the Bar and Lounge are well worth your time. Fresh sushi and sashimi from our Master Sushi Chefs, signature cocktails, sake and the full happy hour menu.

It’s also where you can dine without the teppan service charge. Same kitchen, same chefs, different seat.

What time does Benihana Mall of America open?

Doors open at 11am daily for lunch. Teppan dining runs 3pm to 9:30pm Monday through Saturday, and 3pm to 7:30pm Sunday. Happy Hour Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm. Takeout and delivery from 10:30am daily.

Where is Benihana inside Mall of America?

Third floor, right next to Macy’s.

Is there a service charge at Benihana Mall of America?

Yes. 20 percent at teppan tables, 5 percent on takeout. To skip it, eat in the Bar or Lounge. Under Minnesota law the charge isn’t a gratuity, but your server does receive a portion. Tips beyond that are up to you.
