Our Chicago restaurant is at 875 North Michigan Avenue inside the John Hancock Center, right on the Magnificent Mile. One of the most iconic addresses in the city, and one of the best spots in downtown Chicago for hibachi.

Our chefs cook right in front of you across 22 teppanyaki tables. Filet mignon, colossal shrimp, Hokkaido scallops, all grilled tableside with the kind of showmanship you’ll still be talking about on the walk back down Michigan Avenue.

What We're Pouring

The grill gets all the attention, but the drinks hold their own.

  • Rocky’s Margarita: Altos Plata, yuzu, Grand Marnier. Pick your flavor: Traditional, Mango, Passion Fruit or Strawberry.
  • Prickly Pear Margarita: Milagro Reposado, prickly pear, Grand Marnier. It’s seasonal, so don’t sleep on it.
  • Perfect Pina Margarita: Don Julio Blanco, pineapple, yuzu. Get the bowl. Share it. Or don’t.
  • Dirty Bull: Red Bull, Calpico, pineapple, whipped cream. Add vodka for $3. You’re welcome.

Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6pm. Head out to the patio when Chicago cooperates.

What time is happy hour at Benihana Chicago?

Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6pm. $3, $6 and $9 food and drink specials on select items.

Is there parking at Benihana Chicago?

Street parking is available on and around North Michigan Avenue. We’re also a short walk from the CTA Red Line at Chicago station.

Can I host a private event at Benihana Chicago?

Absolutely. We have three private dining rooms accommodating groups of 20 to 90 guests, ideal for birthdays, corporate dinners and private parties. Fill in the enquiry form or contact the restaurant directly and we’ll take care of the rest.

Does Benihana Chicago have a kids menu?

Yes. Kabuki Kids meals are available for children 12 and under. Kids can also join the Kabuki Kids program for a free birthday mug with any Kabuki Kids meal.
