Children Helping Children Drawing Contest

Benihana is honored to present the winners of the 2011 Children's Day "Children Helping Children" coloring contest from each location. 

Throughout the month of April, each restaurant distributed coloring contest forms and crayons to children who were asked to color a picture under the theme “Children Helping Children.” For each coloring contest form received leading up to Children’s Day on May 5th, Benihana donated $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All 75 Benihana restaurants across the US participated and collected over 12,000 entries! Each location then selected one winning entry from their submissions and presented the child with a complimentary dinner for eight.

On May 11th, Benihana presented a check to the team at St. Jude’s in the amount $30,303.35.
