Jose I. Ortega is Benihana's Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Ortega served as the Company's Controller. Since joining the Company, Mr. Ortega has led the budgeting, financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance areas. Mr. Ortega has also been responsible for the deployment of Benihana's new Point of Sale and cash management systems. Prior to joining Benihana, Mr. Ortega was the director of financial reporting at Burger King Corporation.

Mr. Ortega is a resident of South Florida.
